how to cut/crop photos

Reminder: Make sure you have tested your session first (otherwise you will not have an event date folder for today’s event)

Crop Steps

Go To Photo Booth  Settings

  1. Click “ADVANCE SETTINGS”
  2. Go down to OUTPUT Options: and click “SETTINGS”
  3. Check off ☑ COPY JPEG COPY OF PRINTED OUT TO FOLDER and click “SETTINGS”
  4. Make a new folder inside the event date
  5. Name the folder “Cropped”
  6. Select this folder
  7. Enter your crop numbers provided on the checklist

Tip: Crop settings numbers are provided on your checklist. Numbers will vary depending on what printer you are using.

  1. Go to printer set-up to adjust your printer margins (numbers provided on the checklist)

    Tip: if your photos are not CUTTING in the printer, in printer set-up, go to “set-up printer,” go to the print size dropdown and select “4×6 in split”.

  2. Follow the crop steps above to enter your Crop Settings numbers (numbers provided on the checklist)

Shift your template design with printer margins to eliminate white borders.

Are your 2×6 prints misaligned and not cutting down the center?

Shift your X and Y offset values to get it just right
(or left… or up and down, too)!

The furthest left point is LEFT/X=O. Increase this number (LEFT/X) to move towards the right.
